About the role
We are looking for a reliable driver to transport goods using vehicles with a capacity of 3501‑9000 kg. The role involves ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the condition of the cargo and the vehicle. The driver will work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate documentation and smooth hand‑over of goods. Maintaining a high level of safety and adhering to company policies are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver goods to customers according to schedule.
- Keep the vehicle neatly packed and prevent damages or breakages.
- Supervise and assist with loading and unloading activities.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection checks and report any defects.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working order.
- Supply correct quantities and supplies for each delivery.
- Identify opportunities to reduce vehicle‑related costs.
- Handle delivery note authorizations and collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) payments.
- Provide customer service and represent the company’s values and culture.
