Healthcare Recruiter – Remote (EST Hours)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Healthcare Recruiter to join a fast‑growing US‑based travel therapy staffing company. The role is fully remote and operates on EST working hours, supporting the placement of licensed clinicians into 13‑week travel contracts across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Source clinicians (occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech‑language pathologists, and nurses) via platforms such as Vivian, Allied Travel Careers, LinkedIn and Facebook groups.
• Engage candidates through outreach, messaging and calls to build a personal pipeline.
• Respond quickly to inbound leads and convert interest into active candidates.
• Conduct screening calls to assess experience, availability and preferences.
• Prepare and submit accurate candidate profiles for open roles.
• Maintain documentation of credentials and availability.
• Collaborate with a senior recruiter for mentorship and placement strategy.

Required profile

• Energetic, results‑driven “hunter” mindset with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working Monday‑Friday 14:30‑23:30 SA time (aligned with EST) and rotating weekends.
• Reliable fixed‑fibre internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and a power backup solution to manage load‑shedding.
• Willingness to work on South African and U.S. public holidays (compensated according to BCEA).
• Self‑motivated and able to manage a remote work environment independently.
