Healthcare Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised, personable, and proactive Healthcare Receptionist to be the central point of contact between staff, prospective clients, and families we support. The role is remote, full‑time and follows US business hours (9 am‑5 pm EST).

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming calls, messages and enquiries professionally.
• Conduct weekly check‑in calls with Registered Behavior Technicians and with parents.
• Handle client intake from initial enquiry through onboarding, maintaining an organised pipeline.
• Schedule and update appointments for clients and staff, resolve conflicts and send notifications.
• Maintain accurate client and staff profiles in CentralReach and other systems.
• Provide general administrative support and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Healthcare, Medical or Patient Receptionist, Intake or Care Coordinator.
• Strong experience handling inbound and outbound calls and managing appointment pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work full‑time during US business hours from a remote environment.
• Proactive problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
