About the role
The Head of New Business Development will lead West Coast Group’s expansion strategy across South Africa. Based in Gauteng, this senior full‑time position focuses on identifying franchise partners, securing prime restaurant locations, and driving overall brand growth.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, recruit and onboard new franchisees aligned with the company’s vision.
- Source, evaluate and acquire prime sites for new restaurant openings.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the franchise network and enter key markets.
- Drive sales activities, manage key accounts and ensure business targets are met.
- Negotiate agreements with franchisees, real‑estate agents and other stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives that increase revenue and profitability of new ventures.
- Continuously analyse market trends, competitor actions and consumer preferences to inform decisions.
Required profile
- Proven track record in business development, negotiation and driving growth.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in the hospitality or related industry is a plus.

- Competitive annual total compensation package (CTC) of R1,200,000 with bonus potential up to R1,000,000.
