Head of Finance (CA(SA)) – Johannesburg

About the role

This senior finance position offers a unique opportunity to lead the entire financial function for a dynamic property and asset management portfolio. Reporting to the Board, you will combine strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full finance function, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure audit, compliance and governance standards are met across multiple entities.
• Provide strategic financial insight to the Board and senior executives.
• Oversee financial performance of a diverse property portfolio and asset management operations.
• Manage treasury, taxation, consolidations and FP&A activities.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) with strong post‑articles commercial experience.
• Proven track record leading a finance function in property, asset management or similar multi‑company environments.
• Experience managing complex group structures and multiple entities.
• Commercially astute with the ability to identify profitability and efficiency opportunities.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement at executive and Board level.
