Handyman / Building Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Handyman/Building Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep and minor repairs across our sites in Midrand, Gauteng. The role involves a mix of general maintenance, shopfitting, and garden care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance functions on and around sites, including painting and filling holes/cracks.
• Carry out minor repairs and service all plumbing‑related equipment.
• Execute general shopfitting duties such as repairing equipment, locks, handles and tiles.
• Assist artisans with major repairs and services as required.
• Identify and report repair needs to management and undertake assigned duties.
• Maintain the upkeep of gardens and parking areas surrounding the properties.

Required profile

• Matric / NQF 4 qualification or trade certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant handyman experience covering painting, tiling, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Non‑endorsed driver’s licence and ability to work at heights.
• Good health, energetic and able to work within a team.
