Group Operations Reporting Manager

About the role

Komatsu South Africa is looking for a highly skilled Manager to lead the Group Operations Reporting function within its Finance Division. The role provides strategic financial insights, drives operational excellence and supports executive decision‑making through high‑quality reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounts Payable function and review monthly financial results and reporting variances.
• Support budget planning and execution across divisions and operational units.
• Manage reporting compliance, provide technical financial guidance and review quarterly provisions from subsidiary operations.
• Oversee inventory analysis, job costing, stock valuations, obsolescence reviews and working‑capital performance.
• Lead ERP and SAP reporting enhancement initiatives, drive process improvements and ensure robust financial controls.

Required profile

• BCom Honours Degree in Accounting (essential) and completed SAICA articles; SAICA Associate General Accountant or CIMA qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of financial accounting and reporting experience, with at least 4 years in a tactical management role.
