Group Financial Reporting Manager (CA(SA)) – Manufacturing & Operations

About the role

The Group Financial Reporting Manager will lead the finance function for a fast‑growing manufacturing group. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on delivering accurate, timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory regulations, and providing strategic insights across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage group consolidations across several business entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory regulations and corporate governance requirements.
• Prepare and review annual financial statements.
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support throughout the group.
• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls and reporting processes.
• Partner with executive management by delivering insightful financial analysis and recommendations.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) with 3‑7 years post‑articles experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Proven experience with group consolidations.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and corporate reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
