Group Financial Manager (CA(SA))

About the role

Network Finance is seeking a technically strong CA(SA) to lead group financial reporting and consolidations for a complex, multi‑entity organisation operating in industrial, mining and engineering sectors. The role involves ownership of reporting for 20‑30 entities across several international jurisdictions and close interaction with senior business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of group financial reporting and complex consolidations across approximately 20‑30 entities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements.
• Lead inter‑company eliminations and reconciliation of group balances.
• Oversee statutory reporting and the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end reporting processes for multiple entities.
• Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process.
• Engage with finance and senior business stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems and internal controls.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and mentor the finance team.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification – essential and non‑negotiable.
• 5‑7 years of management experience in a complex group or multi‑entity environment.
• Demonstrated experience with high‑volume entity reporting and complex consolidations.
• Strong statutory and financial reporting background.
• Advanced technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience in engineering, mining, manufacturing or similarly complex operational settings is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
