Accounts Analyst

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Process membership applications and respond to member queries.
• Maintain accurate member records and registers.
• Assist with member invoicing, debtor management and EPR fee collection.
• Follow up on member tonnage declarations and capture/analyse tonnage data.
• Prepare reports and financial information for management.
• Support the Financial Manager with monthly management accounts and regulatory reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 and a BCom or equivalent qualification.
• Finance or Accounting modules advantageous.
• 2–5 years of experience in a finance‑related role.
• Proven reconciliation experience and strong accounting knowledge.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
