Group Financial Accountant (CA(SA)) – Cape Town

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our Finance team in Brackenfell, Cape Town as a Group Financial Accountant. This position offers a fast‑track entry into a commercial environment with exposure to group finance, audit, tax and reporting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial and management reporting.
• Support preparation and review of group financial information.
• Assist audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage tax‑related requirements and compliance.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end reporting cycles.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve finance processes.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting for the Finance team.

Required profile

• Newly qualified CA(SA) with completed SAICA articles.
• Strong understanding of audit, tax and financial reporting.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability.

• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (advantageous)
• Power BI (advantageous)

What we offer

• Competitive CTC of R40,000 – R50,000 per month, dependent on experience.
