GRC Software Trainer

About the role

The GRC Software Trainer delivers comprehensive training programs on the Diligent One platform (formerly HighBond) to clients and stakeholders across Africa. Reporting to the Head of Services, the trainer ensures users understand, configure, and optimise the software to support their governance, risk and compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging classroom sessions, webinars and practical exercises covering configuration, administration, reporting and troubleshooting of Diligent One.
• Create and maintain user guides, manuals and online resources that support software implementation and ongoing use.
• Tailor training curricula to the skill levels of administrators, compliance officers, risk managers, auditors and IT professionals.
• Stay current with product updates and new features, integrating them into training materials.
• Collect participant feedback and relay insights to the Head of Services and implementation teams.
• Collaborate closely with implementation project managers to ensure a smooth hand‑over from deployment to training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering training and instructional design, preferably within the GRC software domain.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport for travel across Africa.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Diligent One (HighBond) software.
• Familiarity with other GRC solutions such as TeamMate, BarnOwl and CaseWare Idea.
• Ability to develop training materials and conduct virtual or onsite sessions.
