Job description
Key responsibilities
- Prepares for the day's work ensuring that tools, materials and equipment are provided and are in good working order.
- Marks and prepares allocated grave sites and niches for burials.
- Undertakes reburials, recycling and exhumations.
- Uses small plant and equipment to maintain cemetery grounds and infrastructure.
- Maintains allocated small plant and equipment in a clean and functional condition.
- Assists patrons and visitors.
Required profile
- Managing work.

- Interpersonal relationships.
- Communication.
- Service delivery.
- Action orientation.
- Learning organisation.
- Grade 10 or equivalent.
- 1 month relevant experience.
- May be required to handle human remains.
- Required to work overtime.
- Must be physically fit.
