Architectural Technologist – Durban Studio

About the role

Elphick Proome Architecture is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join its Durban studio. You will shape meaningful spaces, produce high‑quality technical documentation and collaborate with architects and consultants on diverse projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed technical drawings using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce coordinated construction documentation that complies with National Building Regulations and SANS 10400 standards.
• Work closely with architects and project teams to deliver high‑quality design outcomes.
• Assist in resolving technical design challenges and provide detailed solutions.
• Support site inspections and respond to technical queries during construction.

Required profile

• National Diploma, B.Tech or Bachelor of Architectural Studies (or equivalent) in Architectural Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience within an architectural practice.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong technical detailing and documentation abilities.
• Solid understanding of building construction methods.
