About the role

Harmattan Renewables is a leading renewable energy company focused on sustainable solutions across South Africa. We are seeking motivated graduates to join our Graduate Internship Program 2026/2025 in Johannesburg. The internship provides hands‑on experience in developing and implementing clean energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and management of renewable energy projects.
• Conduct research on renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and environmental policies.
• Gather, analyze, and report data on energy output, efficiency, and project performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support project goals.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student) in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication.
• Basic understanding of renewable energy technologies and sustainability principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated passion for sustainability, clean energy, and environmental conservation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
