Global Events Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of our international events portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will own the delivery of world‑class trade shows, internal gatherings, and our flagship OZblu Blueberry Conference.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual global events calendar, aligning each event with marketing and commercial objectives.
• Design and execute premium exhibition booths at major trade shows (e.g., Fruit Logistica, IFPA) and oversee all related logistics, including vendors, shipping, travel, visas and on‑site execution.
• Plan and deliver high‑impact internal and stakeholder events, managing venues, agendas, speakers and AV requirements.
• Lead the OZblu Blueberry Conference for ~250 attendees, handling speaker recruitment, sponsorship, delegate experience and post‑event analysis.
• Track event KPIs such as lead generation, brand visibility and partnership outcomes, and support post‑event follow‑up with sales teams.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events Management, Hospitality, Business Management or Commerce.
• 5–8+ years of experience in international B2B exhibitions, corporate events or conferences.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale, multi‑day events with 200+ attendees.
• Strong budgeting, financial management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Valid passport and driver’s licence for extensive international travel.
