German-speaking Accountant – Remote (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Accountant to join our finance team on a fully remote basis. This full‑time position offers the chance to own the entire accounting function within a dynamic technology and software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting function, including month‑end and year‑end processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting schedules.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification (completed articles advantageous).
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably managing the full accounting function.
• Experience in the IT or software industry is a plus.
• Fluent German speaker (essential).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• German language proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
