About the role
Fraser Alexander is hiring two General Workers to support site activities at a mining operation in Limpopo. The role involves maintaining a safe and efficient work environment and assisting with daily site tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct site housekeeping duties.
- Participate in pre‑shift and risk assessment meetings.
- Maintain tools in a safe, operational condition.
- Report unsafe conditions and behaviours.
- Collaborate with management on work‑related matters.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety and operational protocols.
Required profile
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years experience in tailings and water environment.
- Understanding of relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Medical fitness for mining environments.
- Successful completion of the mine’s criminal screening.
- Ability to work occasional overtime.
Required skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Effective planning and organizational abilities.
- Team‑oriented and observant.
- Innovative and action‑oriented.
