About the role
Cashbuild is looking for a General Assistant to join its Baobab store in Polokwane. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring stock is correctly priced and displayed.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with product queries and provide advice.
- Merchandise bulk stock according to store layout and planograms.
- Label shelf prices accurately and keep the area clean and safe.
- Follow OHSA safety rules and report any damaged stock.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) with no work experience, or Grade 10/NQF 3 with 1 year related experience.
- Ability to communicate in English and the main local language.
- Valid South African ID or work permit.
- Basic calculation skills and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
