GCC Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical Systems

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time GCC Engineer to join our client’s mining operation in the North West Province. The role focuses on maintaining and operating mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving optimisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Implement and monitor safety and regulatory compliance measures.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and manage resources efficiently.
• Lead optimisation and continuous‑improvement projects across plant systems.
• Prepare performance reports and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance and safety management within mining.
• Team leadership and coordination abilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and project‑management experience.
• GCC certificate for Mines and Works (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
