Funeral Planner – East London

About the role

Icebolethu Group is seeking a Funeral Planner for its East London branch. The role involves coordinating, planning and executing burial services and associated logistics for both new and existing clients, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage logistics for funeral events, including venue setup and transportation.
• Provide administrative support to the burials team and keep accurate records using Easipol and Excel.
• Inform clients about value‑added services offered by Icebolethu Group.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a zero‑defect service.
• Promote consistency and sustainability in funeral operations and ensure compliance with PPE and health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Qualification in Sales, Logistics or the funeral industry.
• Computer literate.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience.
• Familiarity with the Easipol system is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle are advantageous.
