Full‑time Onsite Lecturer – Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering

About the role

We are seeking full‑time onsite lecturers to deliver engineering courses in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical disciplines. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and active participation in the continuous improvement of our engineering programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in annual course review and quality improvement processes.
• Review and evaluate units and courses against learning outcomes and provide feedback to oversight committees.
• Respond to student feedback and collaborate with teaching and curriculum design staff.
• Maintain course administration, including unit outlines, textbook requirements, Moodle page management, and grade submission.
• Organise and lead face‑to‑face or online teaching team meetings for planning, briefing and assessment moderation.
• Mentor, coach and monitor academic staff performance as needed.
• Coordinate with administrative and technical support staff to ensure timetabling, registration and classroom resources are in place.
• Represent the institution and the engineering discipline to industry, government and professional bodies.
• Contribute to marketing activities, special projects and academic committees.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering at the tertiary level.
• Experience in academic administration and course coordination.
• Ability to engage with students, staff and external stakeholders.
