Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with 3‑5 years of experience to help build and optimise the technology behind our large‑scale travel booking platform. You will work in a hybrid setting at our V&A Waterfront office in Cape Town, collaborating with product, design and engineering teams from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy scalable web applications across the full stack.
• Improve system performance, security and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality and test coverage.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.
• Leverage AI‑driven tools and automation to enhance development workflows and product capabilities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of full‑stack development experience on user‑facing products.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments.
