Full Stack Developer – ServiceNow (Advanced)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with deep ServiceNow expertise to design, build, and enhance custom applications that drive governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. The role is hybrid, based in Menlyn, Pretoria, and offers a three‑year renewable contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and extend ServiceNow custom applications using Java, JavaScript and JSON.
• Review, improve and migrate legacy code into the ServiceNow standard framework.
• Design, implement and maintain REST API, NOW API and SAP integrations.
• Work with CSDM and CMDB structures to ensure data integrity.
• Create engaging user experiences with UI Builder, Service Portal Designer, themes and widgets.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• Produce clear technical, operational and support documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience focused on ServiceNow development.
• Strong background in enterprise risk, compliance or integrated risk management.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certifications.
• Relevant IT degree, diploma or comparable qualification.
• Fluent business English.
