Forklift Driver

About the role

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the efficient and accurate loading and off‑loading of production lines and trucks. This role ensures smooth material flow within the plant while adhering to strict health, safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform start‑up inspection and register the forklift before each shift.
• Feed production lines with preforms, empty cans, layer pads and empty pallets.
• Remove finished product from production lines and place it in the designated warehouse sections.
• Follow all company health, safety, food safety and environmental policies.
• Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and comply with hand‑washing and contamination‑control procedures.
• Ensure visitors and contractors are signed‑in, escorted, wear PPE and follow hygiene rules.
• Report any accidents or incidents according to the first‑aid and incident‑reporting procedures.
• Keep the work area tidy and store products in the correct demarcated zones.

Required profile

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high housekeeping standards.
• Willingness to follow company policies, training and procedural guidelines.
