Forensic Medicine Specialist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The government judicial authority in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Forensic Medicine Specialist to support criminal investigations and judicial proceedings. The specialist will conduct medico‑legal examinations, evaluate medical evidence and prepare scientifically sound forensic reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform specialist medico‑legal examinations and autopsies as required.
• Assess and interpret medical evidence for criminal cases.
• Prepare clear, accurate forensic reports and expert opinions.
• Collaborate with prosecutors, law enforcement, forensic laboratories and other professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, quality assurance and chain‑of‑custody standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in forensic medicine, forensic pathology or a related specialty.
• Relevant experience in medico‑legal casework and expert reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary investigation teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
