Food & Housekeeping Services Manager

About the role

The Food & Housekeeping Services Manager will lead all food service, housekeeping and coffee shop operations at Zwavelstream Clinic, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficiency in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage food services, housekeeping and coffee shop operations.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, stock control and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, infection control and safety standards.
• Plan and manage menus, including therapeutic and special diets.
• Supervise, train and develop staff across multiple departments.
• Maintain high service quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Food Technology or Food Science.
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to oversee budgets, procurement and stock control across multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of health, hygiene, infection control and OHS regulations.
• Understanding of therapeutic diets and clinical menu planning.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
