About the role

The Food & Beverage Banqueting Supervisor ensures seamless banquet operations at a premier hotel, leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This full‑time, onsite position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate banquet staff, fostering teamwork and ensuring uniform grooming and professional appearance.
• Set up banquet rooms, verify cleanliness, arrange furniture and equipment, and maintain table set‑ups according to guest specifications.
• Communicate with guests, other departments, and management to meet special event requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Document relevant information in departmental logbooks and report safety incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company safety, security, and quality policies, including proper use of PPE and equipment.

Required profile

• Professional demeanor with clean uniform and personal appearance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance, and to work on varied surfaces and stairs.
• Strong communication skills, using clear, courteous language with guests and colleagues.
• Commitment to confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Flexibility to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts.
