About the role
The Florist will join Icebolethu Group’s Burials Business Unit in Durban, providing floral design and arrangement services for funerals and related events. This permanent, onsite role involves creating displays, consulting clients, and managing flower inventory to ensure high‑quality, dignified presentations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and arrange floral compositions for funerals and other events.
- Consult customers on flower selection and provide advice.
- Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring quality and availability.
- Process invoices and orders, handling administrative duties.
- Set up and maintain floral displays at funeral venues.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12; related floral qualification preferred; clear ITC and criminal record; driver’s licence preferred; willingness to travel.
- Creativity, strong ethical and moral values, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good time management, and business acumen.
