Floor Supervisor – Gateway, Durban

About the role

The Floor Supervisor will support the store management team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence at the Gateway store in Durban. You will lead a diverse store team, motivate staff, and ensure that visual and merchandising standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist store management in driving KPI performance such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual standards.
• Allocate time effectively, manage multiple priorities and ensure smooth store operations.
• Oversee merchandise presentation and visual merchandising principles.
• Implement the customer service strategy to guarantee high customer satisfaction.
• Participate in strategic sales planning and manage the sales process.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
• High flexibility, ability to adapt to different customers and situations.
• Strong sense of urgency, capable of working independently.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
