Floor Supervisor (40hr) - Totalsports

About the role

Totalsports in Somerset West is looking for a Floor Supervisor (40 hours per week) to support the store management team and lead the store team. The role focuses on operational excellence, a customer-centred approach and driving performance through store KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visuals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the store management team and provide outstanding leadership to the store team.
• Ensure the team delivers operational excellence through a customer-centred mindset.
• Generate high levels of motivation and commitment within the store.
• Manage merchandise and visual principles and give input on them.
• Drive performance through store KPIs (turnover, rewards, new accounts, visuals, etc.).
• Manage the sales process and contribute to strategic sales planning.
• Deliver customer satisfaction by executing the customer service strategy and meeting customer demands.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• At least 3 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 1 year in store leadership.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.
