Floor Supervisor (40 hrs/week) – Canal Walk

About the role

The Floor Supervisor will support the store management team in delivering outstanding leadership and operational excellence at the Canal Walk store. The role focuses on driving performance through KPI targets, visual merchandising and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support the store management team by providing leadership and guidance to the store staff, ensuring a customer‑centric mindset throughout daily operations.
• Drive operational excellence by overseeing merchandise presentation, visual standards, and store layout, aligning with brand guidelines.
• Motivate and engage the team to achieve high performance, managing time effectively and prioritising multiple tasks.
• Monitor and analyse store KPI’s such as turnover, rewards, new account acquisition and visual compliance, taking corrective actions to meet targets.
• Contribute to strategic sales planning, manage the sales process and ensure customer value management is executed consistently.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to implement seasonal displays.

Required profile

• Matric certificate (minimum education requirement).
• At least 3 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a store leadership role.
• High flexibility and ability to adapt to diverse customers and situations, with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer‑centric solutions.
• Experience in using feedback and reflection to improve personal performance.
