About the role

The Floor Supervisor will support the store management team at Totalsports V&A Waterfront, leading a retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This full‑time 40‑hour position focuses on operational excellence, motivation, and achieving store performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support store management in providing leadership and ensuring a customer‑centric mindset.
• Drive operational excellence by managing merchandise, visual standards and store KPIs such as turnover, new accounts and rewards.
• Allocate time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize priorities.
• Motivate the team, foster commitment, and maintain high standards of service.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by executing the customer service strategy.
• Plan and execute visual merchandising principles and monitor KPI performance.

Required profile

• Matric certificate with at least 3 years retail experience, including 1 year in a store leadership role.
• High flexibility, ability to adapt to diverse customers and situations, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to make timely decisions and drive results.
