Flexi Sales & Customer Associate – Mall @ Carnival

About the role

homechoice is seeking a flexible, 24‑hour Sales & Customer Associate to work in the Carnival Mall showroom. You will be the front‑line contact for shoppers, guiding them through product selection, order processing and after‑sales support while helping the store meet its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor, understand their needs and convert interactions into sales.
• Demonstrate product features, pricing and promotions, ensuring accurate quoting and order entry.
• Process payments, refunds and credits in line with cash‑handling procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and keep the showroom visually appealing and well‑stocked.
• Support basic stock handling, floor replenishment and reporting of discrepancies.
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused experience and escalate complex issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies, quality standards and risk‑management procedures.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational needs.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a target‑driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication and accuracy.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced retail setting.
