Fleet Sales Manager (Automotive)

About the role

Digi Cars Group is transforming the South African automotive market with a “phygital” model that blends digital retail efficiency with premium in‑store service. As a Fleet Sales Manager you will lead the acquisition and growth of corporate, government and rental fleet business across a multi‑brand portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new fleet opportunities, build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, and represent Digi Cars at client meetings, tender briefings and industry events.
• Manage end‑to‑end tender and RFQ processes, prepare pricing and costing documentation, coordinate submissions with finance, stock and OEM partners, and track outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Negotiate fleet pricing, rebates and commercial terms within approved margin parameters and keep accurate records of all agreements.
• Maintain relationships with existing fleet clients, ensure service excellence, drive contract renewals, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Liaise with OEM fleet divisions and internal stock teams to align programmes, forecast demand and support vehicle availability.
• Lead and coach Fleet Sales Executives, monitor pipeline and delivery forecasts, and report monthly on units, revenue, growth and margin.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification; tertiary education in sales or business is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• At least 5 years of experience in fleet, corporate or B2B vehicle sales, with a proven track record in tenders, RFQs and fleet negotiations.
• Experience managing repeat corporate or government accounts; leadership experience in sales teams is a plus.
