Fleet Controller

About the role
The Fleet Controller is responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of a terminal or depot that dispatches products by road transport. This role ensures that deliveries are made efficiently and on time, while maintaining high standards of operational performance.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate, plan and coordinate operational activities within the assigned division.
- Motivate and supervise a team of employees to meet operational goals.
- Monitor and optimise the dispatch of goods by road transport.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to all customers.
- Maintain operational efficiency and address any issues that arise during the dispatch process.
Required profile
- Proven experience in logistics, transport or depot operations.
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to meeting delivery schedules.
