Fleet and Plant Coordinator

About the role

A recruitment agency is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Fleet and Plant Coordinator to join a team in Johannesburg and take control of equipment operations and maintenance. The role works closely with site teams and management so that all machinery is well maintained, compliant with safety standards and available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of fleet and plant equipment
• Plan and oversee maintenance schedules
• Coordinate the deployment of fleet and plant equipment
• Ensure machinery meets safety and compliance requirements

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet management, plant coordination or equipment maintenance
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering or construction plant and equipment
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Valid driver's licence
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure

• Microsoft Office
• Maintenance schedules, safety compliance and equipment compliance requirements
