Finishing Site Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Finishing Site Supervisor to manage the final stages of construction projects in Gqeberha. The role ensures that all finishing works meet the required quality, aesthetic, structural, and safety standards before handover to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise finishing works and on‑site labour.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and daily site activities.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available as needed.
• Conduct quality inspections, identify defects or snags, and oversee remedial actions.
• Monitor site progress and report updates to management.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Assist with project handovers and final quality checks.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably focused on finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and site safety.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Willingness to travel to sites and work weekends when required.
• Physically fit and able to work on‑site.
