Finishing Site Supervisor – Construction

About the role

The Finishing Site Supervisor will lead the final finishing phase of construction projects in East London and Port Elizabeth, ensuring that all aesthetic and structural elements meet the highest quality standards before handover.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site finishing activities, including painting, tiling, ceilings, plastering, flooring and fittings.
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors during the finishing stage.
• Conduct quality inspections, manage snag lists and ensure defects are resolved promptly.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, suppliers and clients as required.
• Prepare sites for final inspections and client handover.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction finishing or site supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel between sites when needed.
