Financial Planner – Malmesbury

About the role

Sanlam Life Ltd is seeking a Financial Planner to provide professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients in Malmesbury. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and delivering compliant, ethical advice that supports the growth of the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, planning and product recommendations that meet client needs and regulatory standards.
• Generate new business through networking, prospecting, social media marketing and lead generation activities.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present balanced portfolio solutions.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and client loyalty.
• Document client interactions, track activity metrics and report on revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Successful completion of FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements and regulatory examination.
• Registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for at least 24 months.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills.
• Tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and able to work independently.
