Financial Planner – Ceres

About the role

The Financial Planner will provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and suitable products. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and ensuring compliance with ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial needs analysis, advice and planning to clients, using approved tools and processes.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue targets, activity quotas and promoting the brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client bases.
• Maintain high‑quality client service, ensuring ethical, courteous and professional interactions.
• Document and report weekly/monthly activity, contacts, appointments and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial advice, production target achievement, compliance, risk management and client relationship management.
