About the role
Sanlam Life Ltd is seeking a Financial Planner to serve clients in the Blue Ocean area of Port Elizabeth. The role focuses on delivering professional financial advice, planning, and suitable product solutions while building long‑term relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and suitable products.
- Generate sustainable business by meeting revenue and activity targets.
- Maintain long‑term client relationships to build loyalty and generate ongoing advice and sales.
- Conduct client consultations, fact‑finding and financial needs analysis using e‑tools or para‑planner support.
- Ensure all client interactions are compliant with disclosures, Treating Customers Fairly and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
- Successful completion of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) “Fit and Proper” examination and registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority for at least 24 months.
