Financial Manager

About the role

The Financial Manager will lead the financial reporting and control functions for a cluster of businesses in Pretoria. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure accurate financial information, compliance with regulations, and effective resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the cluster.
• Manage finance staff, develop succession plans, and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Develop, implement and monitor financial systems, processes and internal controls.
• Liaise with the Managing Director on strategic financial planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations, inter‑company processing and regulatory reporting.
• Conduct cost analysis, negotiate supplier rates and drive financial efficiency.

Required profile

• CA(SA) accreditation with at least five years post‑articles experience.
• Proven experience in managing finance teams and delivering results on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, internal controls and corporate governance.
