About the role
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to lead the finance function for a well‑established agricultural business operating in the Overberg District Municipality. The role offers the chance to work closely with operational teams, influence business decisions and contribute to the company’s long‑term success.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full finance function from daily operations through month‑end reporting.
- Prepare management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audits and maintain robust financial controls.
- Partner with operational teams to improve efficiencies and support decision‑making.
Required profile
- CA(SA) registration.
- 2‑3 years post‑article experience.
- Agriculture sector experience is beneficial.
- Proven SAP experience.
