Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support business growth. This position blends strategic oversight with day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and robust controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and month‑end processes.
• Review reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Maintain strong financial controls and drive process improvements.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Partner with senior leadership to align finance with business performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA) or CIMA is advantageous.
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ability to manage and develop finance teams.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
