Financial Consultant – OMF Rustenburg

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a motivated Financial Consultant to join its OMF team in Rustenburg. You will provide advice on a defined range of financial products, serve a specific market segment, and be accountable for meeting your sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver standard customer service, handling routine inquiries and welcoming visitors.
• Assess compliance with internal standards and external regulatory codes for routine requests.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and document follow‑up actions.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their needs.
• Prospect and develop relationships with allocated potential customers via phone or in‑person visits.
• Support business development activities and follow established procedures.
• Identify new sales opportunities through referrals and recommendations.
• Collect and input data into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Participate in networking activities both inside and outside the company.

Required profile

• National Qualification Framework Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate, or equivalent.
