About the role

Provides guidance on financial operations and internal control processes. Supports execution of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Key responsibilities

Sound financial management of cost and income, including debtors and creditors management.
Assist with month‑end reporting, preparation of monthly expense reports, forecasts and variance analysis.
Resolve queries from internal or external customers, capture purchase orders and process invoices.
Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general‑ledger accounts and support year‑end audit activities.
Identify financial process improvements, deliver ad‑hoc project work and assess impact of projects on BAU costs.

Required profile

Accounting degree or relevant post‑matric financial qualification.
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant finance experience.
Experience with SAP and working with multiple stakeholders.
Strong cost accounting knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills.
Demonstrated business acumen and analytical thinking.
