Financial Adviser – Worcester

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and product solutions, building long‑term relationships while ensuring compliance and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional financial advice and suitable product solutions to clients, maintaining compliance and ethical standards.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by achieving revenue, premium and activity targets set in the distribution strategy.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and business networks, converting relationships into business opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations, perform fact‑finding and financial needs analysis, and present balanced financial plans.
• Deliver high‑quality client service, maintain long‑term relationships and monitor client portfolios for ongoing advice and sales.
• Document and report weekly/monthly activity, contacts, revenue against targets and update client records.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination; registration with the FSCA for at least 24 months.
• Strong knowledge of financial advice, planning, compliance, risk management and client relationship management.
• Effective communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and persuasive interpersonal skills.
