Financial Adviser – SFG

About the role

Sanlam is seeking a Financial Adviser (SFG) to deliver professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, conduct comprehensive fact‑finding and present suitable financial solutions to clients.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue targets, activity quotas and promoting the brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client bases.
• Maintain high‑quality client service, follow‑up queries promptly and strive for client retention.
• Document client interactions, update records and report on contacts, appointments and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) or equivalent.
• Strong communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and persuasive interpersonal skills.
