About the role
The role involves delivering professional financial advice and planning to both new and existing clients, ensuring solutions are tailored to their needs while supporting Sanlam’s growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and suitable products.
- Generate sustainable business by meeting revenue and activity targets, promoting the Sanlam brand and treating customers fairly.
- Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client bases.
- Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present balanced portfolio solutions.
- Maintain ethical, courteous client service, follow‑up queries and build long‑term relationships.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
- Successful completion of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) “Fit and Proper” requirements and Regulatory Examination.
- Registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for at least 24 months.
